Terms of Use
Last updated: 13 June 2026
By downloading or using RouteTrail ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What RouteTrail is
RouteTrail helps you discover restaurants, heritage sites, cultural landmarks, and other points of interest along a road route, and can alert you as you approach saved spots. It is an information and discovery tool, not a navigation or emergency service.
2. Drive responsibly
3. Accuracy of information
We work hard to verify spots against real sources, but details such as opening hours, prices, availability, and exact locations can change or contain errors. Information is provided "as is" without warranty. Please confirm important details (especially opening times and access) with the venue before relying on them.
4. Accounts
You may use the app as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.
5. RouteTrail Pro & payments
- RouteTrail Pro is an optional paid subscription. Pricing is shown in the app before you pay and is charged through Razorpay.
- Pro unlocks features such as removing ads, unlimited alert spots, PDF export of trails, and exclusive Pro trails.
- You may cancel from within the app; your access continues until the end of the paid period. For billing questions or refund requests, contact support@routetrailapp.com.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt it, or access it by unauthorised means.
- Do not submit false, misleading, or unlawful content through "Suggest a Spot".
- Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the app's data without permission.
7. Content & intellectual property
The app, its design, and its curated content are owned by RouteTrail or its licensors. Place names, trademarks, and images may belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and reference.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, RouteTrail is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the information provided, from travel decisions you make, or from interruptions to the service. The app depends on third-party services (maps, payments, hosting) that may be unavailable at times.
9. Changes
We may update these terms or the app's features over time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
